Power Craft explores the relationship between historically feminine activities like crafting and urban art. The exhibit utilizes three mediums: latch-hook rugs, stencil-posters, and heart stickers. Lee has done more than just display her art in a gallery, however. She took it to the streets, creating Craffiti.

In addition to encouraging the community to distribute her “monster hearts” around the city, Lee created posters and characters for different neighborhoods in Austin. She then plastered the city with these individualized art pieces, taking photographs as evidence of each successful “bomb.”

All this will be on display at the Women & Their Work art gallery until August 4th.
