MetroRail chugging along

Two commuter rail cars ordered by CapMetro have arrived from Europe. Four additional cars are expected to be delivered by April 2008.

Each car will hold 100 seated passengers, with room for an additional 100 standing commuters. MetroRail features include: high-back seats, bicycle and overhead luggage racks and high-speed Wi-Fi connections.

MetroRail service will make nine stops between Leander and downtown Austin.
