Evel Knievel passed away on November 30 and was was buried at Butte, Montana’s Mountain View Cemetery on December 10. His funeral was held at the Butte Civic Center, where thousands attended to mourn the legendary daredevil. One of those in attendance was Matthew McConaughey – and he gave a eulogy during the service.
Why him? Pretty random, right? Well, according to E!, McConaughey hosted the History Channel documentary Absolute Evel in 2005. So… I guess that’s an answer. Here are videos of the eulogy from YouTube member kanman6:
