Maybe this makes me a pessimist, but I can’t help but wonder what kind of ACTUAL good all that money in the Texans for Obama coffers could do if put toward the causes Obama supports.
I’m all for a few minutes in a moonbounce now and then, and I’m a little depressed that all I got for voting was a sticker and that warm fuzzy feeling in my heart, but when I think about that one kid without insurance who could have fallen out of the moonbounce on his head, my heart breaks a little for the injustice of this world and wishes that we could work on issues instead of playing the politics game.
And then I look at Obama, get all hot and bothered, and forget about brain-damaged Bobby and the twenty-five years it will take his parents to pay the hospital bill.
(Obama can take me in the backseat of that moonbounce anytime)
