“Things I Never Told You” is the current exhibition at the Women & Their Work art gallery. The portfolio Denise Prince Martin has worked on for the past five years went public on Thursday, May 17 and will be open until June 23. Each of the photographs shows a different looking woman in a different ambiguous environment, often holding a strange object. All of the images cohesively have an artificial and subtly ironic feeling about them.

Thursday, April 19, from 5–6pm — abortion advocates are gathering on the south side of the Capitol to protest the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Federal Abortion Ban.
The event is to raise awareness about the Supreme Court’s decision on partial-birth abortions and to protest similar anti-choice measures, currently being debated in Congress.

I went to Quiznos today…
…and to pay for my sandwich combo (which was $8.21, BTW) I handed the cashier a $10 bill. As she quickly punched a button to open the cash drawer, I remembered I had a quarter in my pocket and handed it to her, apologizing for the inconvenience. After looking at my hand, which was extending the quarter, the cashier paused and informed me that she was incapable of figuring out the change necessary since she had already rung up the correct total.
