Curra’s specializes in interior Mexican cuisine, and it exemplifies the kind of badass Mexican food you can find here in Austin, the kind of Mexican food you get desperate for when you’re in some other city. The atmosphere is lively, the waitstaff attentive, and the margaritas are stout. A well shaded patio makes for a good place to sit any time of the day, and it accommodates groups easily. Their mimosas have nursed many an Austinite back into good spirits after a long night.

Curra’s happy hour runs Monday through Wednesday all day long and until 6pm on Thursday. They feature $3 house margaritas.
