On Saturday, January 27, people gathered at Austin City Hall for an anti-war rally. Similar rallies were going on in other cities, including the nation’s capital.

After listening to speakers at Austin City Hall, the crowd marched up Congress Avenue to the Capitol, where groups like Code Pink laid down for a silent protest. Others voiced opposition to the war with signs and songs.
