“Celebrated Skin”
That adorable butterfly on your girlfriend’s lower back isn’t a target, silly – it’s art. Independent curator Christina Hiett’s exhibit at the Dougherty Arts Center aims to show how the human body is a canvas and that tattoos are so much more than just ink. In addition to living sculptures on display, you’ll also see paintings, films, and photos that tell the story of the physical and emotional experience between tattoo artists and their canvases.
9am-9:30pm. Free. Located in the Julia C. Butridge Gallery.

The long-time rivals go helmet-to-helmet again tonight, and you can bet it ain’t gonna be pretty.
