4th of July Parade & Carnival at Ramsey Park | 10am
Austinites can rise and shine for the annual Ramsey Park Parade at 10am. Area residents gather at the park bleachers to decorate bikes and strollers at 9:30am. Free watermelon and a zany water balloon toss occur alongside carnival games from 10:30am to noon. Live music by Guess.

Georgetown’s July 4th Celebration | 11am

Come to San Gabriel Park for a full day of entertainment and fun at the 24th Annual Sertoma Club July 4th Family Celebration. A parade beings at 11am and fun activities last until 10pm. More than 80 arts and crafts booths, concessions, live music, and a children’s area with games, activities, petting zoo, train rides, and face painting will keep everyone entertained until the 9pm fireworks show.

Bring your blankets to Old Setters Park to enjoy free watermelon while skydivers and the Austin Symphonic Band entertain you before the fireworks show begins at 9:30pm.

H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks | 8:30pm
The H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert is Austin’s largest and most popular fireworks event featuring patriotic music, including 75mm Howitzer cannons, courtesy of the Texas National Guard Salute Battery. The concert begins at 8:30pm and fireworks will be shot over Town Lake around 9:30pm. Alcoholic beverages will not be permitted, but concessions will be available.
Parking: Most people park near Austin High School or the Lamar footbridge. Barton Springs Road will be closed for the duration of the concert. Handicapped accessible parking will be available from the Zilker Park exit of MoPac.
