An unpretentious hang for the whole granola family and a music venue to boot: Ruta Maya has kids’ concerts, free yoga lessons, art, great beer and coffee, food, and live music. It’s a family-friendly place, but just be sure you don’t drag your kiddos into the strip club across the parking lot by mistake.

They serve organic coffee, as well as espresso drinks, along with beer and wine. For food: breakfast tacos, empanadas, quiche, veggie wraps, veggie tamales, bagels and sweets and pastries. They buy their ingredients from local vendors
