Boy, does this place get busy after last call. We can’t blame everyone for stumbling to Katz’s, though — it’s open 24 hours, the service is good, and every table gets bowls of chips and pickles when they sit down. Katz’s also has free parking behind the restaurant, so check back there first instead of circling the block for an open meter. Some of the best bets on the menu are breakfast items (breakfast is served all day and night), especially the waffles. Sandwiches are pretty tasty, too.
