About ColdTowne Theater

Now, we hate to pick favorites, but it’s hard not to in this case. Austin’s newest comedy venue is, well, pretty damn cool. ColdTowne Theater, which opened in October 2006, is set up like the world’s comfiest, most entertaining and welcoming living room: It’s very small — with only enough seating for about 30 lucky people — and there’s a bar in the lounge area in front. Tickets are usually around $7 — a small price to pay for such a good time.

Punchline, presented by That Other Paper

Psssstt… That Other Paper presents Punchline, a stand-up comedy open-mic night that happens at ColdTowne Theater every Friday night at 10pm. Tickets are $5 at the door; audience members are encouraged to show up at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the show.
