About Austin Museum of Art - Laguna Gloria
AMoA Laguna Gloria definitely has a more intimate, relaxed feel than AMoA downtown. A fabulous 1916 historic building houses the collection (Austin Art Seen, circa 1961 is on display until September 23, 2007). Spending some time walking around the quiet 12-acre lot that overlooks Lake Austin is the ideal thing to do once you’ve browsed the museum.

I had a class here a year or two ago and before class I would walk around the grounds. The grounds have so much to them. Everytime I went walking I found something new. I recommend the tour or taking your time. I must say that their art classes are bit too pricey.
